Written in 2018 by Delia Owens, Where the Crawdads Sing, is part of our 5 books you must read during the pandemic. The main character, Kya Clark, represents freedom, wildness, and childhood. It makes us reflect the beauty that is in our “child side” and the importance of staying true to ourselves.

The Truth About The Harry Quebert Affair, is another novel you must read during the pandemic. Written by Swiss author Joël Dicker, the book became so popular that a movie was made to illustrate it. 

If you are into mystery books, this one goes for you. The novel showcases the story of an author going through what they call a “writer’s block phase”, in which he would find himself without creativity.
