Frédéric François Chopin
When was the last time you were listening to classical music or have been at a piano concert? Frédéric François Chopin who would be now 170 years old would really be proud of your if you did it recently. Born in Poland from Polish mother and French father, he is famous now in every country.
Chopin started to write and compose poetry at age 6 and performed his first public concert at age 8. Nowadays he won’t be allowed to even create a profile on Linkedin until he reached at least 16 but for sure he would have a lot of connections. By the time he was 12, Chopin had already performed in the drawing rooms of countless Polish aristocrats.
Martha Helen Stewart is a businesswoman, writer, television star, and former model. She wasn’t born in Poland but she has Polish parents. At the age of three she moved with her family to the United States. Martha Stewart is known as a passionate workaholic. Four hours of sleep is enough for her busy schedule.
Apart from that, she learned from her mother to be an amazing cook. You can find thousands of her recipes across the internet and famous cooking show and even school. Martha Stewart is America’s first self-made female billionaire. She for sure new the path that lead to the dream job.
He is an actor, director, and producer. His Polish parents immigrated to the States where he was born. Despite that fact, he is very proud of his roots and he speaks Polish. He was spending four months every year in Poland until he reached 16. He is best known for his roles as Stefan Salvatore on the supernatural drama series The Vampire Diaries, and as Eddie Longo on the anthology series Tell Me a Story. We don’t know if it was the influence of the vampire’s series but he also believes in supernatural. Once he told the story of how he saw a ghost when he was a child.

Nicolaus Copernicus was born in the city of Toruń, in Poland. He developed his own celestial model of a heliocentric planetary system.
An interesting fact that Nicolaus was a polyglot. He spoke Polish, German, Italian, Greek, Latin and some studies say also Hebrew. Six languages and it wasn’t the biggest achievement of his life!

Four super brothers that are famous for creating the largest television and film studio in the world. The company’s name originated from the four founding Warner brothers: Harry, Albert, Sam, and Jack Warner. Harry, Albert, and Sam emigrated as young children with their parents to Canada from Krasnosielc, Poland and Jack was born later in London.
Friends, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Matrix, Superman, Batman, Sherlock Holmes, Shazam… Warner Bros is behind some of the most famous movies in the world.
